IMPARTIALITY STATEMENT
PT. DiGiSi Global Survey (DGS) is the legal entity responsible for certification activities related to different schemes.
PT. DiGiSi Global Survey (DGS) its Top Management, managers, staff and all employees fully understands the importance of impartiality in undertaking its Certification Activities. DGS will therefore ensure that in all its dealings with clients or potential clients all employees or other personnel are and will remain impartial and does not allow commercial, financial or other pressures to compromise impartiality, this will also maintain under their contracts and appointment letters. To ensure that impartiality is both maintained and can be demonstrated the following principals have been established.
1.1 DGS is committed to impartiality in our management system certification activities and ensures the objectivity of our management system certification activities.
1.2 DGS will never offer or refer any sort of consultancy and training to the client.
1.3 DGS Survey will identify, analyze and document the possibilities for conflict of interests arising from provision of certification and resulting relationships.
1.4 DGS is not providing certification in cases of unacceptable threat to impartiality. There will be no offering of certification when relationships that threaten impartiality cannot be eliminated or minimized.
1.5 DGS will not certify another certification body’s management system certification activities.
1.6 DGS does not deal with consulting and does not provide internal audits to its certified clients.
1.7 DGS will not outsource audits and do not offer linked activities with organizations that provides management system consultancy. There are no joined marketing activities with consultancy organizations.
1.8 DGS will make sure that the staff that have provided management system consultancy in previous two years shall not be used to take part in certification activities, unless more than 3 years passed.
1.9 DGS will take actions to respond any threats to our impartiality arising from external actions.
1.10 DGS will make sure all staff’s act impartiality and shall not allow commercial, financial, other compromise impartiality.
1.11 The personnel of DGS are instructed to report any situations that might result in threats impartiality.
1.12 Periodically DGS reviews the conformance with the impartiality requirements of ISO 17021. The results shall be recorded based internal audit and management review.
1.13 DGS will have a staff that controls the document and may provide consultation regarding threats and any conflict of interests based from it. He/ she will record the consultation and store it. He/she will not use the record unless there is no conflict of interest with others either internal, external or personnel.
1.14 DGS does not market or offer its activities as linked with the activities of an organization that provides consultancy. DGS does not state or imply that certification would be simpler, easier, faster or less expensive if a specified consultancy organization were used and will take appropriate legal action should any such link be identified.
1.15 All employees will be reviewed at least annually to ensure that they remain impartial when conducting audits.
